Dr. Courtney L. Crooks, PhD, CTMH, CCTP, is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Marietta, Georgia, specializing in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy for individual adults ages 18+. With over 20 years of professional experience in psychological research and clinical practice, she can help you understand the underlying basis of your conflicts, then guide you on your journey toward meaningful, positive change according to your needs and goals. Dr. Crooks graduated from the University of Georgia with a doctorate degree in Cognitive Psychology, and from Fielding Graduate University with a second doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with a Forensic Concentration. She is a military veteran, and has received specialized training related to military and veteran's issues. Dr. Crooks is currently a Senior Candidate with the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Crooks is a certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and holds an Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission. She offers both short-term and long-term psychotherapy, through either virtual or in-person sessions.
